Challenges for the Homeowner
Our clients found it difficult to get in and out of the bathtub. They also needed better access to their shower. We helped them achieve the following:
- Better flow and layout
- Updated design elements, including flooring
- Comfortability and accessibility
How We Solved the Problem
We met with the couple in their home, assessing their current bathroom design. After discussing their needs and wants for their bathroom, our design team created a plan to give them the space, convenience, and comfort they desired. We worked together to choose new flooring and design elements and got to work in short order!
We started by removing the freestanding bathtub, freeing up valuable space in the bathroom. We then installed a spacious shower with oversized tile in a subway pattern and a frosted glass window to allow for natural lighting. The affordable porcelain tile is in a marble finish, providing an upscale look for a great price! The new shower is easy to access and big enough to move around. We included a shower bench to improve their showering experience and make the process safer.
LVT flooring is highly durable and waterproof, making it the perfect choice for our client’s new bathroom. We installed the easy-maintenance flooring and moved on to making the shower easy to access. We accomplished this by removing the large vanity and putting in a solid surface countertop.
