To achieve this, the existing wall between the bedroom and bathroom needed to be extended, which required careful planning, including the relocation of an existing window.
Challenges for the Homeowner
The master bathroom needed more than just aesthetic upgrades; our clients wanted to enhance their daily living. They were unhappy with the open vanity that blurred the lines between their private spaces and wanted more privacy, so they wanted to enclose the once-exposed vanity area, creating a distinct separation between their bedroom and the bathroom. They also wanted to remove the existing wall that awkwardly divided the toilet from the vanity.
This would give them a seamless flow where each element of the space would complement the next for unity and functionality. They wanted privacy and comfort, and modern design converged seamlessly.
How We Helped Them Reach Their Objectives
After an in-home consultation, our team meticulously planned a space that would redefine the bathroom. We removed the restrictive wall between the vanity and toilet, a task that required careful demolition and structural adjustments to seamlessly blend the two areas. Next, we extended the existing wall between the bedroom and bathroom, enclosing the vanity for added privacy and relocating an existing window into the bedroom area.
This enhanced natural light while preserving privacy within the newly defined bathroom space. The result was a seamless transition between rooms, and our clients can now enjoy a bathroom that feels expansive, cohesive, and tailored to their specific needs.

The focal point of the vanity area was the Hansgrohe chrome lavatory faucet, its sleek lines and polished finish adding contemporary sophistication. Paired with the Kohler Ladena lavatory sink, the ensemble is timelessly elegant, completing the space’s clean lines and modern aesthetic.
Moving to the shower, the Kohler Bancroft shower fixtures in chrome gleam against the AKDO Essential Cloud shower wall tiles. The interplay of textures and shades offers depth and luxury, along with the AKDO Carrara Bella brick mosaic accent tiles. The shower floor features Daltile’s Color Wheel Hex Desert Gray tiles, which offer durability.
These details add visual interest and blend classic and contemporary design. The bathroom floor features Interceramic’s Tartan Cliff Gray tiles; their large format and neutral hue tie the entire space together. Each carefully selected element contributes to a tranquil and refined primary bathroom, marrying luxury and practicality.
